I began my career at Random House where I wrote and edited children’s books. Over the years I have cultivated a diverse portfolio, including authoring the cover story of the Journal of the Medical Association of Georgia, technical writing for the US Navy, development of marketing materials, as well as researching and copyediting articles of American foreign policy which appeared in The New York Times. My professional experience includes writing and photography for newspapers, magazines and websites, as well as legislative correspondence for the U.S. Congress.
I have undertaken unique assignments that combine editorial and visual storytelling, including photographing Broadway’s Tony Award-winning choreographers and documenting the journey of an emerging Broadway star. My image, “Weekend Vintner,” was selected as a runner-up in an international photo competition sponsored in part by National Geographic.
